With a median age of 16, Uganda has an urgent need to create job opportunities for kingdom-minded youth. PAD is at the forefront of engaging these young people in kingdom activities and it now wants to launch "Arua Healthy Beginnings", a Demo Farm run by youth and for youth. PAD has young people who are knowledgeable in modern agriculture practices. They will teach other young people how to use farming as a means of providing household income. The farm will also be a place for spiritual discipleship, turning young people away from a growing trend toward drugs and other vices. This grant will provide for a solar-powered borehole, needed buildings on the farm land (which has already been purchased using a former PEER Servants grant) and salaries for three staff through the end of 2026, at which point the Farm will hopefully generate sufficient income to be sustainable.
