About Cause 01 - Special Project Grant - Guatemala Medical Lab

For many years now, PEER Servants has been a lead supporter of Multimedica, the healthcare arm of Potter's House. We helped launch their Medical Lab a few years ago and have been supporting Multimedica's efforts to offer quality, affordable, and sustainable healthcare to the materially poor. Now Multimedica is in need of two more innovative pieces of equipment for the Medical Lab - an Automated Dry Chemistry Analyzer and an Advanced Immunology Analyzer. These two pieces of equipment will allow Multimedica to run more tests in house more quickly and accurately - thereby better serving the materially poor, and avoiding the cost of having to send these tests to other labs. This better service and expense savings will help Multimedica continue to make progress in offering the materially poor of Guatemala what they really need - a long-term solution for their healthcare needs.
