About this Cause

PEER Servants' annual Walk for Global Empowerment has raised over $2 million since the first Walk in 2006 and every penny has gone to empower the materially poor through microfinance, education, youth empowerment, healthcare, and food security programs. It took 15 years (until 2021) to raise the first million; with your help, we reached the second million this year (2026) after just five years! Our 2026 Walk included Neighborhood Walks around the world in the May 30 - June 7 window with the biggest PEER-hosted Walk on Saturday, June 6 around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts, USA. We raised over $250,000 through the 2026 Walk - a new record for the event! Thank you to everyone who walked, crowdfunded, donated, and prayed!
