About this Cause

PEER Servants' annual Walk for Global Empowerment has raised 1.9 million dollars since the first Walk in 2006 and every penny has gone to empower the materially poor through microfinance, education, youth empowerment, healthcare, and food security programs. It took 15 years (until 2021) to raise the first million; with your help, we will reach the second million this year (2026) after just five years! Our 2026 Walk includes Neighborhood Walks around the world in the May 30 - June 7 window with the biggest PEER-hosted Walk on Saturday, June 6 around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts, USA. Registration will be at 9:30 am and the Official Walk Start at 10:00 am. We are hoping to raise $250,000+ through the 2026 Walk - a new record for the event! You can walk and crowdfund through July 31, 2026. Would you like to donate or walk? If you would like to support a person or a team, click on that team's "Donate Now" button. If you would like to walk and crowdfund with a team, please take three easy steps... 1) Choose your team. Select from those listed below. (Note - ignore the "1 Team Member" reference - most teams have many team members!) 100% of what you raise or give will go to that organization or program. 2) Register for the team and select your personal crowdfunding commitment level using the registration link on the team crowdfunding page. 3) Send that team webpage link to your friends and family and encourage them to support you with a generous donation towards your crowdfunding goal.
